We take care when placing dumpsters to protect your driveway and property. Boards are placed under the dumpster to prevent damage.
What Can Go in the Dumpster?
Most household, construction, and renovation debris is accepted. Here's a quick guide to help you sort things out.
Accepted Materials
- Household junk & general debris
- Construction debris (drywall, lumber, concrete)
- Yard waste (branches, leaves, dirt)
- Furniture
- Appliances: by request only. Call us first and we'll arrange special handling, since the landfill won't take them.
- Roofing materials (shingles, underlayment)
- Flooring, carpet, and tile
Not Accepted
- Hazardous waste & toxic materials
- Tires
- Batteries (car, lithium, etc.)
- Paint, solvents, and chemicals
- Medical waste & pharmaceuticals
- Electronics (TVs, computer monitors, and screens are banned from the landfill)
- Appliances placed in the dumpster without arranging it with us first
About appliances and electronics: the landfill does not accept appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters) or electronics (TVs, computer monitors, screens). Appliances need special handling that we're glad to arrange, but only by request, so call us before your rental if you have any. Electronics can't go in the dumpster at all, but your local recycling center will take them for free; most county convenience centers around here accept TVs and monitors.
